The short version
We collect what we need to get your print to you and keep the shop running, we don’t sell your details to anyone, and you only hear from us by email if you’ve asked to.
Who looks after your data
Print of the Day Ltd (company number 17317390, registered office 203 West Street, Fareham, Hampshire, PO16 0EN) is responsible for your personal data. Questions or requests go to [email protected].
What we collect and why

We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled by our payment provider.
Who we share it with
We only share what each service needs to do its job:
- WooPayments (powered by Stripe) and PayPal, to take payment
- Royal Mail and ShipStation, to print labels and deliver your print
- Klaviyo, to send order and marketing emails (marketing only if you’ve signed up)
- Google Analytics, to measure how the site is used (only with your consent)
- Cloudflare, Wordfence and IONOS, to host and protect the site
- Airtable and n8n, the systems we use to track orders and editions
Some of these companies store data outside the UK, mainly in the USA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK’s data adequacy rules or the standard contracts approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
How long we keep it
Order records: 6 years, for tax. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: 14 months. Anything else is deleted when we no longer need it.
Cookies
Some cookies are essential: they keep your basket working and let you check out. Analytics and marketing cookies only go on with your permission, which you can change at any time from the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or limit how we use it, or to send it to another company. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
